Not Applicable , did not buy pedestals and did not purchase a Samsung. The Washer / Dryer we purchased were made bu LG.

I did not buy pedestals but had top load washer front load dryer did not need no issues at all with movement washer adjust weight before it even starts.

I'm not sure they affect vibrations but the machines are very well balanced and I really don't notice 
a problem.
