I would say they are dead, but all batteries are supposed to have an extended expiration date if they aren't opened. You should check it out by contacting the manufacturer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lithium batteries degrade over time so it's not surprising they're practically useless by now. Usually there's an expiration date listed on the packaging and if they don't work and the date hasn't been met yet then there's a good chance the manufacturer will give you a coupon or send you a free one if you reach out to them
