You can use a quarter to unscrew the battery the lid off. Wiggle lady and right to break up anything keeping it shut. If all else fails. You can also get a rag and put some WD-40 on it. Rub the screw area very well making sure some of it gets under the screw. Don't spray it because the fluid will be too much and can get into the battery compartment. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This isn't rechargeable either, it uses 4 D-cell batteries. The thing what looks like a charging port is actually a USB port that can be used to charge a phone or other USB device. It's meant for emergencies.
