• I believe that the case has to allow/support wireless charging. I use a case on my iPhone, but my case supports MagSafe / wireless charging as advertised.

• Hi Rexrex, You don’t need a special charging case for this Qi-certified wireless charging stand. It will work with most standard cases as long as they are not too thick (generally under 5mm) and don’t contain metal or magnetic attachments.
