reharge batteries are 1.2v they hold the voltage, 1.5 slowly get weaker as you use them.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not a problem, they hold that voltage through most of their use, alkaline drop voltage. The only problem you may see, because the voltage doesn't drop, rechargeables get a rather abrupt cutoff off point, of not working. So, if you see a run down battery problem, switch out the batteries poste haste.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't seen a problem with the difference in voltage. It may be they don't last quite as long. But alkaline batteries degrade fairly rapidly to a lower voltage anyway. However you might find a problem in high draw application such as flashlights .

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All rechargeable (NiMH, NiCad, Li-ON) single cell batteries are 1.2 volts when fully charged. Most all electronics will work fine at that reduced voltage, but some may not.
