1. These are lithium polymer batteries so they last a very very long time. Exactly how long I do not know but I didn't touch mine for six months one time and it was still ful. 2. It charges via a USB-C or Micro USB cable, if you plug those into a computer, a wall, a cell phone charger, a car, it doesn't matter. It will take a charge no matter how the current is being delivered.
