Indirect light is no problem. But like any projected image from a projector of 2500 lumens or less, you can't have any direct light (e.g. sunlight/spotlight/flashlight) hitting the screen. So if you can control the room lighting, it's great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as the sun isn't shinning directly on the screen and you have an ALR screen you can have quite a lot of light in the room. I have light the room up with several can lights and it's very watchable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works fairly decent with some ambient light. I wouldn't recommend it in a brightly lit day room but your room doesn't have to be totally dark either. Your screen choice would also affect the display. Mine works fine in the middle of the day with just the blinds/curtains closed in my den, no special blackout stuff. Sports display great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works really well, I have some blinds but no blackout currents and I watch movies and play games on this during the day and still have visible picture. Depending on the location of your ambient light you may see a little fading on the edges. Plus you don't get the reflection you would with a TV getting hit with light.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your screen color, gain, and lighting in your room. Everyone has different scenarios.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very well. Perfectly viewable, just diminishes the blacks a little but I'm able to watch and game at all times if the day and night with no issues
