• Don't know what those problems were, but I plugged it in and it worked. Runs quietly too.

• The first unit I had was replaced. It just went dead. No one said what it was but could have been power supply. Had the 3 yr. warranty. only problem with getting an replacement I had to buy a new warranty. This makes it expensive.
