“I now have a 5-6 year old built-in Fisher & Paykel microwave Model: M024SS-2 with a trim kit. Is there any reason your Fisher & Paykel unit, of the same model, would not fit? Please advise ASAP”

I know this is months later - but thought I'd post what I discovered. I contacted Fisher & Paykel. The model number on the trim kit has not changed at all. So yes - the trim kit will work. We have a DCS microwave from 2004 with trim kit installed, and the microwave needs replacement. We're getting their current 24" F&P model that should work just fine with no adjustments to trim kit or cabinetry.
