• Hi, ChildFlower! Thank you for this inquiry. This is not hardwired. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-prong (grounding) plug. Ensure to plug the power cord into a separate and dedicated 15- to 20-amp electrical outlet. ~Juan
