“So with this ice maker unlike the others you don't have to bag and put in freezer? You can just leave and use it right from this machine. Keeps it frozen until need to use? Thanks”

It keeps it frozen about 30 minutes to an hour then recycles the water into new ice cubes.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not exactly. If you don’t use the ice, it melts slowly and the water recycles into new ice. And it keeps making ice until it reaches a certain level then stops until it melts down. I don’t recommend bagging in your freezer because it will freeze too hard and become brittle. If you don’t like to chew on the ice then bag it and save it like every half hour till you have enough. But it’s GREAT for chewing!!
