I transfer the ice to a zip top bag and put it in the freezer. After it has been in the freezer for a little bit, I knock the bag on the counter to break it up and then I put it in my ice container in the freezer to use. Works great. If I'm trying to store ice for later, I store it in the zip top bag and hit it on the counter and leave it in the freezer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi bk, this is normal. Ice making takes place with a fixed time interval. To make your ice harder, start with colder water. Tip: you can make the water colder by dumping the first couple of batches of ice into the water reservoir.
