“Can anyone comment on the life span of this unit, have it lasted a significant amount of time?”

• Not this particular unit but my last upright freezer was a Frigidaire and it lasted more than 20 years so I chose this brand for that reason. Others were cheaper but dependability and lifespan is more important.
