“I see it says the size is 12" x 16" (doors closed) my kitchen window is EXCATLY 16" wide. Would I be able to fit this unit (with some finegaling) and just not use the plastic/rubber side things that attach?”

The window dimensions are listed as follows: Height (min) 13" and Width (min/max) 23" / 36". Based on the width provided, it may not fit properly. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
