“When this this model is raised from the low 32.5" height to 35", is that done via the leveling legs, and if so, what masks the gap at the floor?”

• The metal trim that comes with the dishwasher will cover the gap. However, I found it still needed a piece of 3/4" trim above the unit. If possible, I'd recommend a 1 1/2" trim above and not crank the legs to their maximum.

• There is an adjustable black kick plate that has about 2” of up/down adjustment.
