Mine was unboxed and they took all the wrapping off and set it up in my garage. To answer your question it is preset to the right temp when delivered. I could have unboxed it and plugged it in myself. Hope this helps. I believe they are no longer setting up anything. Think this just started in September. Big mistake on their part.
