It’s relatively quiet. I had it in my living room while waiting for a new full size fridge to arrive and I never noticed it even being on.

It is impossible to tell if it is running or not by any sound.

My mini frig is very quiet. but it still would give off a little heat from the motor at the back which is not a lot, but worth mentioning if this matters to you. It is very, very slight.
