• Hello, Amy! The recommended temperature is usually in the middle of the dial setting. Some models only have 0-5, and it would be set to 3. If your model is 0-8, try setting the dial in the middle. If you feel it needs to be cooler you can adjust the knob toward the higher numbers. Or alternatively, you can adjust the knob toward the lower numbers if you notice it needs to be warmer.
