No. According to Frigidaire’s own installation guide, this model is designed as a built‑in cabinet unit; it is not intended to be installed as a below‑counter, island microwave without proper cabinetry support. Installing this Frigidaire Built‑In Convection Microwave in a below‑counter island configuration is not supported by the official installation manual. It must be installed into a built‑in cabinet opening with the required clearances as shown in the manual. - Maico
