Usually hard wired as it takes 220-240 volts AC. Must be on its own breaker. Power cord goes from cooktop to junction box. Box is fed from breaker at the service entrance panel. Some stoves and ovens may plug in. Depends on your local building codes. Contact your building department. Given the choice I’d go for hard wired. Cost about $5. Plug and socket could run about $25.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Both one plug in the other hand wire to stove...arrival time is not good for us. just changed 5 to 7 pm Tuesday...not good for us...we were told 12 to 3pm. We will not be here after 5. I took off a day's work for this we are not happy.
