“Can this be used under cabinet and above cooktop? i do not have a range. does it matter?”

Thank you for your inquiry, Jinfr73! After viewing the Installation Guide, we were able to see this model can be installed under a cabinet or above a cook-top. The range hood location should be away from strong draft areas, such as windows, doors and strong heating vents. We hope this information was helpful to you and your shopping experience. -Ciara
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there are a few different holes at the top just choose the one for your needs I have this installed under a cabinet make sure the fan vent cover is off and you are set. The light is good also....
