A:AnswerHello, Shyrl. We appreciate your inquiry. This is usually due to one of the following reasons: Why the Door Shuts Too Tight:
Air Pressure Difference: When you close the fridge, warm air gets trapped inside. As it cools, it creates a vacuum, making the door harder to open.
Tight Hinges: The door hinges might be too tight, making the door press too hard against the seal.
Sticky Seal: The rubber seal around the door might be sticky or compressed, making it tough to open.
How to Prevent It:
Wait a Moment: After closing the door, wait a few seconds before reopening it.
Adjust Hinges: Make sure the door hinges aren't too tight.
Clean the Seal: Regularly clean the rubber seal with soapy water to keep it from sticking.
Use a Dehumidifier: If your kitchen is humid, use a dehumidifier to reduce moisture.
Lubricate the Seal: Apply a little petroleum jelly to the seal to keep it from sticking. We hope this information helps! Should you need further assistance, please let us know. A:AnswerDid you ever get this figured out? Mine is doing the same and getting to -8 degrees. The tech thinks it might be a freezer that was mislabeled or put together as a freezer but mislabeled as a refrigerator since they have both that are pretty much identical.
A:AnswerWe just had this delivered last week. without the door it is 24" if you take the door off. We did delivery only. they brought it in and dropped off where we wanted it. We had to plug in and attach the handle. It's a very nice fridge.
A:AnswerYou don't need a water hose. The only thing you need to be aware of is that you CANNOT switch the door to open on the opposite side. When we tried to reverse the door, we found an electrical wire that runs from the bottom of the refrigerator to the bottom of the door which you cannot switch up, Other than that I would give this refrigerator 10 **** if I could. I love this refrigerator!!!! It's quiet, made well with glass shelves, and a great price ($949.99) If I didn't already have a freezer, I would have purchased the freezer to match this refrigerator.
A:AnswerHello, Gabe. We appreciate your inquiry. Most refrigerators are designed to perform at ambient temperatures between 45 °F (7 °C) and 110 °F (43 °C) to ensure optimal performance. It is not advisable to install the appliance where the temperature will drop below 35°F (1.7°C) or rise above 110°F (43°C). The compressor will not be able to maintain proper temperatures inside the unit. We hope this information helps! - Christi
A:AnswerGood day! Thank you for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the alarm for this unit. However, our team will evaluate your review to help implement future design improvements to our product lines. ~Lauren
A:AnswerThe door on ours does not close by itself but it really doesn't take much effort to close it. I prefer it that way so it is not repeatedly closing on its own and forcing me to wait on the vacuum seal when I am trying to load it up.
A:AnswerThanks for reaching out, Sue! This model that the serial number starts with BA are made in
South Carolina. We hope this information help you and your shopping experience.-Angel
A:AnswerHi there, our valued customer! If your appliance is placed with the door
hinge side against a wall, you may have to allow additional space for the handles so the door can be opened wider. Allow the following clearances for ease of installation, proper air circulation, and plumbing and electrical connections:
Sides & Top ⅜ "and Back 1.". Installation and service must be performed by a qualified technician. -Chris
