Hello TheGreek! Based on the Frigidaire manual for the Frigidaire 36 in. Wide 25.6 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator Stainless Steel, the water filter is located inside the refrigerator compartment, in the upper right area (behind the filter cover).

To replace the filter:
1. Open the refrigerator door.
2. Locate the water filter housing in the upper right corner.
3. Open the filter cover (if equipped).
4. Remove the old filter by turning it to the left (counterclockwise) and pulling it out.
5. Insert the new filter and turn it to the right (clockwise) until it locks in place.
6. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to flush the new filter.
7. Reset the filter indicator light (if your model has one).

Frigidaire recommends replacing the filter about every 6 months or when the filter indicator signals it needs replacement. - Maico
