  • QuestionWill this fit through a 29" doorway?

    Asked by TerriH.

    • Answer Thank you for your question. For the Frigidaire 25.6 Cu. Ft. Side‑by‑Side Refrigerator, the overall out‑of‑box width is approximately 36⅛ inches (about 91.7 cm). A 29‑inch doorway is significantly narrower than this width, so the refrigerator will not pass through the doorway in its normal, assembled orientation without modification. - Jessica

  • QuestionWhen is the ice good to use? Is the water good to drink immediately?

    Asked by Annie.

    • Answer Hi there, Annie. We appreciate you reaching out. For this refrigerator, discard the first 1.5-3 gallons (about 3 minutes of dispensing) after installing or replacing the filter (FPPWFU01) to flush out air, carbon fines, and manufacturing residues—this clears black particles or odd tastes. Ice from the new maker is good to use after 24-48 hours of production (first batches may taste off due to residues), then discard the initial 2-3 batches (about 20-30 cubes) before regular use. We hope this information helps. - Maria

  • QuestionFridge is new but not making ice cubes how long does it take to make ice???

    Asked by Ruben.

    • Answer Hi Ruben! Thank you for reaching out. With a new Frigidaire FRSS2623AW refrigerator, it is normal for ice production to take some time. Once the refrigerator is properly installed and the freezer reaches the correct temperature (around 0°F), it can take up to 24 hours for the ice maker to produce the first batch of ice. After that, ice production will continue gradually, and it may take 1 to 2 additional days to fully fill the ice bin if no ice is being used. If the refrigerator has been running for more than 48–72 hours and still is not making ice, we recommend checking that the water supply is fully connected, the ice maker is turned on, and the freezer temperature is set correctly. - Reed

  • QuestionHow to connect a hose for the water and ice dispenser does the hose come with it

    Asked by Rami.

    • Answer Hi Rami! Thank you for reaching out to us. For model FRSS2623AS, the refrigerator does not include the water supply hose in the box. To connect the water and ice dispenser, you will need to purchase a standard ¼-inch water supply line, either braided stainless steel or copper. To install it, simply connect the ¼-inch line to the water inlet valve located at the back of the refrigerator, and attach the other end to your home’s cold-water supply using a proper shut-off valve. Once connected, turn the water on, check for leaks, and run the dispenser for a few minutes to flush the line. - Reed

  • Questiondoes this refrigerator have freezer place?? if yes, what section of the refrigerator? also do delivery and installation includes connection of water supply to the fridge?

    Asked by Bz.

    • Answer Good day, Bz! Yes, the Frigidaire 25.6 Cu Ft Side‑by‑Side Refrigerator does have a freezer section. Here are the details: Freezer location - The freezer is on the left side of the side‑by‑side refrigerator layout. - The capacity of the freezer compartment is about 9 cubic feet (with the fresh food/refrigerator side being approximately 16.5–16.6 cu ft) in the 25.6 cu ft model. I’d advise checking with Best Buy for the delivery/installation service you’re using: ask “Does your installation service include hooking up the water supply line from the shut‑off valve to the refrigerator?” and if any additional parts (water line tubing, fitting, etc.) are required, and who pays for them. - Maico
