Thank you for reaching out, Ray. Zero turn hinges limit the amount exposed when opened, these type of hinges with an open door will only add 1/4 inch or so to the actual width of the unit. If they are installing with the recommended 2-3 inches of space on both sides of the unit the door will not cause any spacing issues. - Maria
