Hi, ChefLeesy. For optimal performance, it is recommended that you install the wine cooler where the ambient temperature is between 70 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also advised to install the wine cooler in a dry and ventilated room that is away from any direct sunlight. However, there is not a minimum operating temperature listed. yes but turn it off if temps will be below freezing for very long. The oil in the compressor will get too thick to pump.
