“Has anyone had trouble getting it to flush mount because of the gas valve being in the way? It is a good four inches from the walI. I can remove the back panel and get it flush, but that exposes wires. Any one . . .any one?”

don't take back panel off stove is recessed in back, if that doesn't work you're either gonna have to live with it or move the gas line. My gas line is about 3 inches out and stove sits right at baseboard
