Yes you have to be very careful and spend hours researching every product and then you end up having to take it back to the store and wasting time and money. Dishonest merchants and manufacturers are everywhere nowadays and everything comes from China and plastic and will Fall Apart before you know it. I just bought a Farberware and then realize you cannot buy replacement beaters and whisks. The plastic whisk broke the first time I used it. Only kitchenaid replacements are available on the internet for sale but they're not interchangeable. And who can afford kitchenaid?
