Hi Am01! Thank you for your inquiry. In researching, we were able to see that you are able to use the bypass filter assembly, part number 807946702. However, you may experience hollow or smaller when using in-line water filters, reverse osmosis systems or well water systems. We hope this helps. -CiCi
