You set it while the door is open and then shut it. But if you want to hit the cancel button in the middle of a cycle you would need to have some space. We have almost no clearance where it is under our counter top, but just enough room to stick a pinky finer in if we needed to cancel the cycle!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours is built in also and no we do not have to have the door open to access the buttons. We have about an inch of space to work and that is plenty to see all the buttons and choose which ones you want including the start button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You press all buttons and press start before shutting door. This is installed under my counter and works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is mounted under the counter and I can barely see the control panel when it is running but the only reason you would need to see the panel is for the green light that lets you know the DW has been run, nice feature. You set the buttons on the control panel while the door is open, then you are given a Close Door notice on the panel. I have not had any reason to need to access the buttons while the DW is running.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We simply choose our setting while it is open. I turn on the hot water in the sink, put the detergent in and then select the cycle I want to run, hit the start button and close it. then I turn off the hot water and walk away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have the same set up and it depends on who is loading the dishwasher. My kids close the door and set the controls and my wife and I set controls while the door is open. So it's up to the person doing the loading
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You program it when it's open.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The panel is literally on the top surface of the door itself so you just open the door and select your settings, push start and then shut the door. Settings can only be changed if you open the door and are not visible or accessible when door is shut.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Push buttons then close. No need to keep it out past counter
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours is set that way and you just set your wash cycle before closing. You won't be able to see the access panel when it's closed but it does help the product look more sleek
