“Where is the shutoff wire in the ice maker for the fghb2868tf when the ice bin is full. I do not see one when the ice maker is removed. A pic would be nice. Thanks PS The owners manual is not helpful.”

Hi, Dave! If you have a ice maker in the freezer, the wire arm should be hovering over the bucket. Pulling it into the "up" position will turn ice production off. The ice maker in the fresh food compartment is self-contained, so you can turn it off and on using the controls on the front display. ~Ashton
