Hey, EJ! The water that comes from the refrigerator will not be cold and will most likely be the temperature of your tap water. This is due to the fact that the water lines have to run through heated areas of the refrigerator and will eventually pass through close to the ice maker to raise the temperature of the water slightly. If I could relate it to the water that is in a garden hose; the water in the hose that has been sitting will be warm until water is constantly moving through the line, becoming cooler. This is the same type of effect of the water passing through your refrigerator. I hope this information is helpful! ~Courtney
