Hello DRG! The knobs on the cooktop FGGC3645QS are stainless steel. However, the finish on them is not dishwasher safe and we do not suggest soaking the knobs to clean them. The best way to clean the knobs is by using a non-abrasive cloth and warm water. We hope this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
