Not sure how to turn off the Ice Maker. I bought this fridge thinking it didn't have an Ice Maker. I do not have water connected to the fridge and consequently the Ice maker is not working - nor making any noise. I don't know if this helps.

The ice bin is removable and you can turn the ice maker off from inside the freezer.
