Hi there, Connie! The Frigidaire Gallery 30" Induction Range (model GCFI3060BF) features a flat back panel. Unlike some gas ranges that have an indent to accommodate a gas line, this induction range does not have such a feature. Therefore, if your current gas connection cannot be removed, the back panel of the induction range should not interfere with the existing gas line. - Maico
