• You can take approximately 400 pictures or so before the battery is dead.

• I charged mine before going to the beach for five days. I did not have to recharge the camera during the trip, but I only took pictures while swimming (no land taking, I have another camera for that).

• Not sure exactly how many I took but i was able to shoot underwater video and numerous pics through out the whole day.

• If you do not need the flash, the battery at full charge lasts most of the day. Flash and video eat the battery up much faster.
