• No, the light that lights up is just to show that the camera is on. There is an arrow on the lense part that when you have moved to your chosen setting, it should be pointed towards it.

• Yes, if u turn the wheel, you'll see the different images, house, cloud, sun, and brighter sun. If u spin the wheel so the indent is next to an image, the screen will get brighter or darker according to which image the indent is next to.
