“what is the exact measurement from the front of the micro to the most furthest depth ? Is there anything attached to the back that would add more depth to the micro or is the 12.75 " correct ? Our shelf measures 12' exactly .”

There is a 1 1/4 inch space guard on the back of microwave. It does bump out in the back, so it may not fit on your shelf.

Also, microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We suggest 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" clearance in the rear. The front edge of the microwave (measured at door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the counter or shelf to avoid accidental tipping. Thanks for checking with us! SUEatGEA
