• There will be sounds created from the door mechanism and latch when closing the door on this model. We don't consider this sound particularly loud.

• It's not terribly loud. You can make it very quiet if you use two hands and depress the button while closing. I love that you can turn off all "beeping" when pushing buttons or when cooking is finished. We really like this model.
