A:AnswerThats a good question i would believe you leave that in. As i just checked mine and i did leave mine in. Plus if you look there are tabs holding it in there
A:AnswerYes. It’s a microwave, convection oven, broiler, and air fryer in one. You can heat up a lot of things including soups, hot cereal, and coffee.
A:AnswerThank you for reaching out to us. This microwave is rated as “Countertop only” meaning that it cannot be installed in a cubby/cutout. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Wishing you well – Matthew@GEA
A:AnswerHi - Thank you for reaching out to us. If your existing model is sitting on your counter top or a separate microwave cart, the JES1109RSS is a great model to consider. If your existing model is built-in your cabinetry using a built-in kit - the PEB9159SJSS with the appropriate built-in kit is the best model for you. If you have additional questions, locate the model number on your existing microwave and reach out to us directly on social media. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerGreetings! Thank you for reaching out to us about this. We're unsure of the plastic piece you are referring to. We encourage you to reach out to us on social media with a picture of the piece you're talking about so we can make sure we give you the correct information. We apologize for the inconvenience. We look forward to hearing from you soon. -Kacie@GEA
A:AnswerHey there! We're excited to hear you're loving your new oven! You are correct in thinking the silicone mats come out when you are air frying and using convection. Although they may be approved for use at higher temperatures, usually the temperature limit is 350F - 450F. The cooking surface could get hotter than this. They also keep radiant/halogen surface burners from heating/cycling properly. Thank you for letting us assist you with this question and we hope you continue to enjoy your oven for a long time to come. Come back to us directly should you have additional questions. -Kacie@GEA
A:AnswerHi there,
We're so happy hearing how much you love this amazing microwave! There is no way to turn the light off when cooking or to adjust the turn option. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Enjoy your microwave! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHello. We appreciate you reaching out with this great question! You can indeed prepare pizza using this microwave – there is a convenience cooking control specifically for pizza on the control panel. If you use convection cooking to prepare your pizza, you can use one of the provided racks to allow air circulation around the pizza for even heat distribution - we would recommend using the short rack (you should always use one of the provided racks when using the convection feature). More information on preparing pizza is available throughout the manual, with a section specifically on using the pizza option on the control panel on page 12; if you’d like to view the manual, you can do so here: https://files.bbystatic.com/ItQf0uQaEGVZc%2FfEFHLsxA%3D%3D/Owners%2BManual . We hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re always glad to assist. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerI also use a wooden cabinet to hold our mw. Clearance is a little over 2" on the sides. I keep an eye on it, especially while using the air fryer and convection oven features, but so far I have not noticed any problems with venting or excessive heat buildup.
A:AnswerNot much , fits under our counter easily with plenty room to spare , about 5 inches , much smaller than our old microwave which I like! Plenty of room inside and have used all three settings,
Convection oven , air fryer and microwave, power is great on it , could have a better instruction book but not hard to figure out in your own. We love ours !
