“Does the interior rust/paint start chipping off over time (within 2 years or so)? Does it leave puddle of water inside from the steam when cooking is done?”

Hi Rororoyourboat- Thanks for considering our GE Microwave JES1145SHSS! The white epoxy interior is quite durable and holds up well. If properly maintained, you should not expect rust/chipping. To keep your microwave looking like new, we suggest to view the following link for tips on cleaning the interior: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17377 - Also, while there will generally not be a puddle, it is normal to have moisture on the floor or walls of the microwave cavity while cooking, especially if you are microwaving liquids or foods with a high water content (ex.
