• The unit is exactly 12 inches high. Might be a tight fit if your space is exactly 12 inches.

• Hello LRC58. Thank you for your question. We are glad to assist. This microwave a countertop only model. Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. This model requires 3" of clearance on both sides and the top. This microwave is intended for countertop use only. We do not recommend installing it in tight spaces, like a cabinet.
