• A:Answer It all depends where your microwave is laying on. A wood table would be fine to remove rubber feet but on hard metal I would not do it

Q: QuestionIf this microwave is placed on a shelf how deep must the shelf be if the plug is located behind the microwave? Need to consider the depth of the microwave but also how close you can get it to the back wall because of the plug. Plug is not flat.

• A:Answer Most likely not, the interior dimensions are 13 inches wide and 13 inches deep. All of the 9 x 13 pans I have have handles so they would not fit inside but I have an 8 x 10 Pyrex dish that fits perfectly. see photos

Q: QuestionI have a similar GE microwave which I have to replace bc the top started bubbling at less than 2 years old (of course out of warrantee). It is also 1.1 cu ft but has 1100 Watts. Why has the wattage decreased and does this affect function?

• A:Answer I also had an older GE microwave that was 1100 Watts and I had to replace. Yes it has a lower watt rating but seems to cook just as quick or quicker than the older one. I guess this newer one is more efficient. It is also is only slightly smaller.

It is a beep that occurs once every minute after the normal cooking cycle has ended. This is different from the 'Cooking Complete Signal' which is 4 beeps heard only once and directly at the end of the cooking cycle.
