You can change power levels only when using Time Cook or Time Defrost buttons. Additionally, this model is enabled with multi-stage cooking capabilities, for example, if you want to cook with 80% microwave power for 5 minutes + 60% microwave power for 10 minutes. Guidance on changing the power level per different intended use can be found on page 8 of your owner's manual. Directions for operating multi-stage cooking can be found on page 12.
