Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. Most microwave cooking directions list the cooking time as a span like 6-8 minutes. We always recommend heating for the shortest time and then add time as needed to achieve the desired results. In most cases, the difference in cooking time in this example - 1100 - 1000 watts, would be a matter of seconds. Please contact us again if you have additional questions. Vikki@GEA
