• Hello John - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. This is a countertop microwave. It does not accept an undercounter hanging kit, nor will it attach to the wall. It is for countertop use only. If your existing microwave is over-the-range, then please see our over-the-range models. We also offer a couple of models that can be installed from an upper cabinet. • it will sit on a shelf above the stove - like being in a box with the front open

• I just put mine on a shelf that is above the oven that is enclosed. I'm pretty sure that you can hang it. Hope this helps.
