QuestionI can't figure out how to defrost meat. I hit the defrost button and then when I hit a number for the number of pounds nothing happens. I can't even press start. Would you kindly give me the directions to defrost 1 lb of meat?

- Answer According to the sticker inside the microwave, you should enter the number of ounces, not pounds, with a minimum of 4 oz & max of 100 oz. Any number less than 4 will not work. Press Weight Defrost, enter the weight in ounces, then press Start. There is also a Time Defrost feature.

- Answer 10 is the high set, as 5 would be half power; so 1 would be the lowest

QuestionMy GE microwave seems that the control buttons are not working Can they be fixed I had to leave door open cause the appliance kept on turning on by itself & couldn’t turn off microwave I had to leave the door open so it didn’t go on Please adv Regards

QuestionThere is a sticker that is stuck tight on the operational panel that won't come off. Is there a film on the panel that needs to come off. If so how do you get it off.

QuestionHi, the cabinet I have for this microwave to sit on is 13" deep. This microwave is 15" deep total in depth. What is the measurement from the back of the microwave to the front feet? So I can make sure the feet can sit on a 13" deep cabinet.

QuestionDoes the front fit in a 10-1/2”x23-7/8 opening front trim kit? It’s replacing a GE model PEM31SM4SS.

In addition, please know trim kits are model specific so you wouldn't be able to use the same one for a different model. With that said, we believe model PEM31SFSS would make a great replacement as this unit has the same cutout dimensions as your current unit. - Answer you can set your cooking time, push time set, then numbers to cook, then start, but I don't know about setting to use as timer only
