“Many microwave install instructions have a “zone” representing the back of the microwave relative to where & where not to install the electrical receptacle. I can’t find any such instructions for this product. Where should the receptacle be located?”

• mine is installed in the cabinet above the microwave, a small hole was drilled so the cord would go through the cabinet and plug in to the outlet. hope this helps

If you have enough depth in a cabinet, the plug can go behind it or you can place the receptacle next to the microwave.
