“Specs for built-in microwave model PEM31SFSS, to replace my dead m'w, informs me that it does not have interior light when it is operating! Strange, since interior light is necessary to see the status of item being cooked or brewed. Really? or spec error?”

Hey there and thanks for reaching out with this question. This microwave has an interior light that automatically turns on when opening the door and when cooking.
