Hello Dee - Thank you for reaching out about this excellent microwave. We are happy to help find the best option for you. The cutout opening will help determine the microwave that will fit. Model PEM31SFSS requires a 25" wide and 15" height. The trim kit is an accessory that is required to build this in. Both the 27" and 30" kits will fit the same size cutout. To determine which kit you need, measure your current kit's outer width or the oven it will be installed above. The 27" kit is made to be the same outer width as our 27" wall ovens and likewise with the 30" trim kits and ovens.
